12019-04-22T17:17:59+00:002004: Demonstration Against the War in Iraq1plain2019-04-22T17:17:59+00:00On October 24th-28th 2004, nine women participated in a four day and night long demonstration on Stine Laketo “educate the campus about the war in Iraq and its consequences, and to advocate for peace.” The demonstration was a combination of Peace Club, GECKO, Amnesty International, and the Democratic and Republican parties. The groups hosted a multi-media tent all four days and put on educational demonstrations for campus. The event polarized campus, which is especially noticeable in a string of emails preserved in College Archives and Special Collections. Explore the emails below.
